The Dalmore Cromartie Lands of Clan Mackenzie (Limited Edition – Bottle no. 2047 of 7.500 – Distilled in 1996)
A vintage 1996 15 year old limited edition Charity Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Dalmore and the 3rd release from the Mackenzie Edition. The fine Highland Single Malt matured in American oak and then for several years in selected Oloroso Sherry casks from the world-famous Bodega of Gonzales Byass before it was bottled in the year 2012 at 45.0% vol. in individually numbered bottles. The Dalmore Cromartie was created by master distiller Richard Paterson as a tribute to the Mackenzie clan and the stag, and his selection of casks once again created an exceptional single malt. The Dalmore Cromartie was bottled in a limited edition of 7500 bottles in the year 2012 to help maintain and further renovate the Mackenzie Clan s home in the east of Ross-shire in the Scottish Highlands. The packaging shows a map and is a tribute to the historical lands of Cromartie, which has always been the home of the MacKenzies clan. The famous Highland Clan Mackenzie owned The Dalmore for nearly 100 years and they are still linked by the family symbol, the deer head that The Dalmore still uses today to decorate its bottles.
A now rare and extraordinary Dalmore single malt scotch whisky and a special highlight for connoisseurs and the discerning collector of exclusive Scotch whiskies.
